The minimum qualification for writing this exam is 10th [S.S.L.C] and the Minimum age is 21 years.
TNPSC VAO Exam Pattern
The TNPSC Village Administrative Officer Exam has consisted of a total of 300 marks and 200 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam is three hours. The question paper will contain questions based on the below category.
General Studies (75 items).
Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (25 items).
General Tamil (100 items).

In 2017 the VAO Exam was conducted as CCSE-IV Exam. The CCSE-IV is nothing but a combination of Group 4 and VAO Exams.
